++ Adding Private Domain

Adding a private domain for use within a Media SiteBuilder website

1. Login to your domain registrar’s control panel, usually accessible via the supplier’s homepage
(A supplier is the company from whom you bought the domain, i.e. GoDaddy, LiveDNS ect.)

2. In the control panel, locate the section where you can change your domain’s “A record” (Hosting record). This setting is usually available via your domain settings, in a section called “Total DNS Settings” or “Advanced DNS settings”.

3. Change the “root” (@) and the “www” host field to the following IP address:

US / international users:  66.246.235.188
Israeli users:
                      212.150.51.130

WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH ANY OTHER SETTINGS IN THE CONTROL PANEL EXCEPT these 2 records!

4. After changing the records and saving the changes, login to the Media SiteBuilder CRM and access the client card you wish to add a private domain to.

5. In the client card, enter the private domain in the relevant field.

6. Click “Update” to save the settings.

IT MAY TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS FOR THE @ RECORD SETTINGS CHANGE TO TAKE EFFECT. IN THAT TIME THE SYSTEM MAY NOT ALLOW YOU TO ADD THE PRIVATE DOMAIN TO THE CLIENT.
